Sinners
Saw in 70mm IMAX @ Cinemark Dallas.
I was not prepared at how much I would tear up at how gorgeous this movie was… the cinematography, the score, the sound design!!! Not a single element wasn’t working together beautifully at all times! The generational music scene is one that’s going to sit with me for a long long long time.
MBJ’s best performances maybe ever tbh & amazing performances by the ensemble cast especially with newcomer Miles Canton and greats like Wunmi & Delroy.
As a long time Jack O’Connell fan it was great seeing him make a feast of his role and bring in such fun, menacing detail.
Major, major hats off to Ryan Coogler who you can see put every ounce of love, care and research into this film.
I don’t even have anything witty to say, I love movies so so much.
