What a fucking original masterpiece. I honestly didn’t expect to fully understand this on first watch. I’ve never seen anything like this and I was so pleasantly surprised with this film. The backwards/forwards plot works so well at keeping you looped in while scrambling to find out the secrets. It does become dull at points but that’s to be expected when you don’t really know fully what’s going on most of the film. You think you know one thing but it ends up being completely wrong. The end twist is just perfection and provides themes that you would not see coming. Pearce’s acting is exceptional in this film. Nolan does an even better job writing. It’s such a mind bending experience that you really have to stay locked into. Wish I could lose my memory to watch this for the first time again.
