John Wick: Chapter 4

Don’t fuck with the Baba Yaga. The choreography is through the roof, with more than half the movie being packed with fight and action sequences to make your jaw drop. I always appreciate the combat for not shifting to multiple cameras at a quick rate. This franchise continues to stun, and I have to say, I think this is the best one of the four. And it works because it knows how absurd it is. This movie was able to put emotion into the story, and give us two absolute baller assassins in the process: Nobody and Caine. You can laugh at the surroundings, and the accuracy of bullets and whatnot. But you will be entertained from the very start until the last shot. And these shots? Goddamn. I promise you the almost 3 hour runtime. I’m staking my flag this is arguably the greatest action franchise ever. It’s a top 10 lock for 2023 already.
