Train Dreams

“Train Dreams” makes me appreciate being alive. Appreciating love, loss, the road of self repair, and finding a new way to respect and honor things. I’m struggling to find words. The environment pushes our themes and forces our lead to push forward, learning and adapting despite the world on his shoulders. It feels so layered. There should be no question whether Joel Edgerton gets nominated or not for award season- this is a roller coaster through life, always touching on something within an arm’s reach. And it’s so stunning to look at I’d be mistaken to think Terrence Malick made it. Something in me needed to see this movie.
