Poor Things
Godwin to Bella: *“As you’ve written back from your adventures, I’ve loved seeing you discover Bella Baxter” *(paraphrased)
Found new themes of parenthood on second watch. Godwin continues some traits of his father (working as a crazy scientist) and rejects others (treats Bella with love and respect above his scientific research). It added a nice new layer to an already fantastic story of self discovery and independence. I think Oppenheimer takes Best Picture, but I would be happy if this won too :)
