The Batman

“They think I’m hiding in the shadows… but I am the shadows.” "The Batman" has always been my favorite Batman movie, and honestly, my favorite superhero movie overall (yes, even better than TDK). I’ve seen this film more times than I can count, and it never gets boring. Bruce feels more human here than ever before: deeply lonely, still haunted and shaped by his parents’ murder. Another thing I absolutely adore is the cinematography. It’s hard to even describe, it’s just stunning. And of course, the score is incredible, and perfectly suited to Batman. I also love the detail that he canonically listens to Nirvana, which fits his character so well. In short, I love this movie more than I can put into words, and I’m so excited for Part II next year. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it.
