Dune: Part Two

Epic!!!!!!!!! Absolutely epic. A must see in imax, top 3 theater experience of my life at minimum I’m not the biggest sci-fi person ever, so going into the first movie I was skeptical for sure. The first had me very intrigued and the second really brought this universe to life. I can’t speak on the source material, but this really makes me want to read the books as well.  Round of applause for all the visuals and sound design score and allat 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 perfect execution except the lady yelling/singing in the score during all the emotional climaxes kinda made me laugh 🤭 —Spoilers for the rest — The character development throughout this was the best part for me. Watching Paul transform from humble and hesitant into the fierce leader had me hyped but also nervous and mad. Timmy C really stepped it up and killed the role as well. His mothers character was interesting with the whole dynamic between her paving the way for Paul before he even accepted it. Idk what to think ab zendayas character (there’s so many new names and things idk how to spell sorry guys 🥺) it hurt to see her teeter back and forth and then her face in the final scenes. Word on the street is the books way different w her, we shall see how that all unfolds in the next installment. Stilgar was a little too bought into the prophecies as well it was weird how hard he flipped Combat was cool, especially last scene. My one possible gripe is I don’t really know what to think about how this portrays religion 🤔 I’d need to see it again/ talk to smarter people Go watch this in imax asap!
