Godzilla Minus One

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.after missing gojira in theaters multiple times, and trying (and failing) to get a good pirated copy (in minecraft, obviously) I FINALLY SAW IT, AND OH MY GOD IT WAS SO WORTH IT.my japanese is a little rusty, but even still, every emotion and plot point hit like a fucking bomb.  this is not a “monster movie” this is a deep cut into the human fucking psyche. the guilt, the grief, the camaraderie through it all, not to mention the fear??? the constant terror of living through a war and feeling that it’s never really over???in my opinion, this tackles the consequences of atomic warfare far better than oppenheimer ever would, and it deserves all the praise it got AND MORE. please make more movies like this.
