Pan's Labyrinth

note to self: A bit strange as I always thought I had a recollection of watching this film when I was a young + how much I loved it.. but as I was progressing on my "re-watch", I simply cannot remember any passing scenes from the movie at all, yet I still felt so viscerally connected to every bit of it. The relatability I have for this film is too off-the-charts.. I wouldn't personally jot down everything but going against the current has been the theme of my life for a while now, and nonconformity being the driving force that allows me to move forward, further solidifies the impact that this film's done for me. I think I just found a soulmate in it. I want to be with my Ofelia again.
