Hamnet

There is so much to love here, one thing that really stuck out to me is how the camera lingers in the hard moments. The long takes are just incredible. The faith Chloe Zhao has in Jessie Buckley to pull off those long heartbreaking scenes!! And Jessie Buckley!!! Jessie Buckley how????? One of the best performances I’ve ever seen Every creative decision made to fill in the historical gaps benefit the story so incredibly and you even see the Shakespeare elements in those decisions which I love. Seeing Hamlet in the globe already out of this world awe inspiring. But then the incredible imagery showing how important theatre is and how it touches everyone in different ways, incredible incredible
