Send Help

In short, Send Help fucking rocks.  Rachel McAdams steal the show. Of course she does. Anytime I’m sat in front of a screen with her on it I’m in awe. At first, I was a little annoyed this film was trying to convince me that she was smelly, ugly, and weird, yet somehow, she— RACHEL MCADAMS, pulls it off so well. Dylan O’Brien is fantastic next to her and in everything he’s been doing recently, his resurgence was definitely needed. His comedic timing was perfect. His chemistry with her is insane.  In the best way possible, this feels like it was written in the early 2000’s, it had a charm that I haven’t seen in recent horror films. This is just over the top and silly and perfect.  I wouldn’t say Send Help is scary, gory definitely with the perfect amount of jump scares sprinkled in. Chefs kiss. No notes, welcome back Sam Raimi. Thank you for this masterpiece.
