Chernobyl

Absolutely insanely excellent television. A harrowing series showing the lengths the governments will go to lie and spin the narrative. One of the best things I found about this series is how well its shows perspective, it shows every single person’s point of view and it does not hold back. Particularly horrible scene was Lyudmilla seeing her husbands decaying body, absolutely horrifying.  One particular scene that stuck with me was the elongated dog scene. Not only cause it’s horrible in its own right but, the camera following Barry Keoghan around and holding on him as he had to kill the poor animals and staying with his emotions was incredible. It really gets this whole perspective thing right it was insane.  All performances were amazing, Jarred Harris especially absolutely killed it, he portrayed an insanely broken character so well it was amazing.  One of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen to be honest
