Dune: Part Two

An exhilarating and breathtaking piece of science fiction absolutely crammed with an incredible continuation of world building, established in the previous instalment; which makes for the ultimate movie-going experience. Arguably Villeneuve’s magnum opus and the pinnacle of his career, heightened by gorgeous visuals, a mesmerising score and some career defining acting performances. The sound design and action set pieces are amongst the best I’ve ever seen and this film is guaranteed to absolutely sweep the Oscar’s next year. I find it hard to process and articulate my thoughts on this incredible outing right now but all I can say is that I think it’s near impossible to top this masterpiece for any other film releasing this year. Thankyou so much Denis, we’ve been absolutely spoilt!
