Eternity
A wonderful and funny romcom reminiscent of The Good Place. Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller are both excellent and charismatic in these roles as an old married couple in the bodies of when they felt the happiest. I love seeing Da’Vine Randolph get work, and John Early is always a treat to see in anything.
Callum Turner was unfortunately the weak link, but that’s more of a writing issue than his acting. The afterlife holding pen was a clever choice to make, and this movie made me really worry about the implications of a perfect afterlife. Of course the only satisfying narrative direction would be Joan ending up with Larry, but there was plenty of humor and tension along the way
