The Lighthouse

Originally a 3 when I finished it last night, but it stuck with me and I appreciate it a lot more for it.  The cinematography and use of black and white is stellar, along with the sound design it creates such an isolating, cold atmosphere.   Pattinson and Dafoe obviously kill it with equal parts humor, dread, and insanity.  So much of the story feels like I was seeing a Greek myth being created in front of me A cautionary tale against not acting on the homoerotic tension with your bois
