Fuck me. I mean Holy Moly mother of grace this movie was absolutely fantastic in every way possible. My last review I said Card counter made it impossible to relate to characters and develop an emotional connection throughout the entirety of the movie, but with this film I was immediately attached within the first 10 minutes. It’s a drama, romance, thriller, horror-ish kinda, sci-fi etc. Talk about a flipping tearjerker this is absolutely crushing I literally felt so emotionally connected and invested in the characters I couldn’t believe it. If you don’t cry at any point in this movie do you even have any feelings? I can’t even put into words how I feel about this movie it’s just so perfect in every way. Easily one of my favorite movies I’ve watched this year, it’s high in the ranks of my favorite foreign films and is ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite movies of all time. Everyone should watch this. Everyone.
