Poor Things is a masterpiece and my preferred term for anyone who didn’t get it

Park never disappoints. Some of his coolest visual language and editing that I’ve seen so far but the non-linear story kind of threw me off a little. Love to see a woman on a warpath. All three of the Vengeance films offer a very different experience. I expect on an rewatch with an understanding of what is actually going on I’ll love it more than I ultimately did on first viewing.

It’s a slow burn initially but once that river scene hits, you know what you’re in for. No clear cut hero or villain in this revenge story. Everybody has their own motivations. Everybody is a victim and a perpetrator. Park Chan-wook is that guy.
