Phantom Thread

“I am older and I see things differently, and I finally understand you.” What a gorgeous movie. I really can’t think of a negative thing to say about this, every inch of this has been crafted with such a tenderness and care in order to portray its two lead characters and their relationship with as much honesty as possible. The score is so dreamy it’s perfect, the lighting and camerawork is beautiful, the performances absolutely blew me away. Daniel Day-Lewis is incredible as to be expected, especially in a collaboration with PTA, but Vicky Krieps really stole the show for me, keeping up with her co-lead effortlessly.
