10DANCE
"Dance is neither about technique or stamina, it's about love"
Sugiki, a ballroom dancer, and Suzuki, a Latin dancer are like two sides of the same coin. They only knew how to dance, and hell they do it in a way that encapsulates what it means to be alive.
Sugiki, just like ballroom dancing, is stoic yet elegant. He is composed and hides behind a facade. Meanwhile, Suzuki is carefree and seductive, representing his joyful yet nonchalant life through dancing.
The movie's beauty lies between dancing, quite literally. Every movement of each character, whether they are grooving or not, seems delicate and meaningful. Through their eyes, they speak. They send signals even with the slightest touch of their finger tips.
Maybe life isn't always about being the best at something. Maybe love is not always about staying together. Because it's not always about what you see or what you understand, it's about what you feel. We must treasure what WE feel in every moment, in every step.
10 Dance successfully reminds us that in this world we live in, who even cares? No matter who's watching, we have to keep our feet grounded and feel the rhythm of our hearts.
