Dear X is literally one HELL of a ride. Baek Ah-jin is a one of kind female lead / main protagonist who embodies greed, power, ambition, and most importantly apathy.
This drama keeps you motivated in each episode, following how she will navigate through difficulties in such evil ways. It also manages to manipulate you in some sort of way, believing in her lies and implanting hope in your mind about the future that lies ahead.
In the end, Baek Ah-jin was just a product of an unfortunate environment combined with a non-existing support system. She never did dream of heaven, she just wanted to escape hell. But in doing so, she become hell herself. She is one lucky bitch, that enjoys the burning pits of her own fire.
