Head Over Heels
This drama will literally make your head and heels be all over the place because of how an emotional rollercoaster ride this was.
Seong A was honestly such a breath of fresh air as a female lead. She was a ray of sunshine. A literal fairy. She is a testament of how truly powerful a first love can be. From beginning 'til the end, she proved that kindness isn't something you inherently have. It's something you choose no matter how difficult it may be.
As for Gyeon U, he is the epitome of great character development. You wouldn't even recognize him at all if you compare the first and last episodes. He is just a sweet little boy who was overshadowed by his fears of hurting the ones he love. It's astonishing to see how he overcame that when Seong A came to his life throughout the story. He was like a rose covered with thorns, a boy who hides his horns. But then came his ray of light.
They taught us that even him we don't know how to comfort someone, or bring peace to them, we just need to stay there beside them. Because staying is a choice that calms even the most evil of spirits.
This show as a whole is like covering your self with a blanket while you're in bed but it's too hot to keep your whole feet in. You tried to stick a leg out but you're too scared that there would be monsters to grab you and take you away. But still, you decided to stick both legs out, because someone will be there with you even if the monsters really did come to get you. You'll both stick your feet out, but that doesn't mean you're not afraid anymore. It's because you're brave and mature enough to understand that the monster isn't there to get you. They just want a piece of that blanket too.
