that hospital scene is so good. i need raimi to direct a campy horror again asap i think something that makes the action so good in these movies is you see the reactions of civilians. like you see ladies scream when doc ock climbs past the window. you see kids cheer when spider-man swings away. makes the city feel alive and gives weight to the action. i think marvel learned the wrong lesson from Man of Steel. it’s not that we always want the action far away from people; it’s that we want the hero to save the people also, so incredibly well lit. especially the dramatic scenes. i gotta stop ragging in the mcu i know but im sick of big budget movies being lit like the big bang theory
