Dune: Part Two

i’m gonna have to see this again to confirm my suspicions, but this might be my favorite film i’ve ever seen.  i could write about this movie for a solid hour at least, but i think i’ll save the glazing.  i’ll just say this film is perfect and frank herbert would be more than proud of this.  also because he deserves it, timothée chalamet absolutely put on a masterclass of a performance.  if you didn’t like dune: part one as much for whatever reason, go see this. i’m begging you. for a lot of people there’s an issue with it being sort of slow and lacking in the action category. dune: part two gives you what you want and then some when it comes to action.  i didn’t really believe it when people first started talking about this and comparing it to empire strikes back and calling it the best sequel of all time. i am a devout star wars fan and i think i can say that this truly is the best sequel of all time and is surely this generation’s empire strikes back.  this needs to be seen on the biggest screen with the best sound system. do not wait for it to come to streaming, i promise it will not be nearly the same. some films you can pass on and wait, this is not one of those.  the hype is real. please go see this as soon as you can.  to denis . . . thank you for blessing us. we will be waiting patiently for messiah.  long live the fighters.
