somehow this film rips even more on a second watch.
i’m sure it has something to do with a nice 75 inch samsung with all the lights off and a bev and snack and the volume cranked.
pretty much perfect in every regard, but the thing i really appreciated this time around, was the way the aspect ratio changing had such a big impact. from the smooth transitions to the cuts back and forth, you’re really able to feel the weight of those moments.
