“It’s not like this with other people.” upon finishing normal people, this show left me feeling very empty. people do not oversell how devastating this show is. connell and marianne’s relationship was so frustrating to watch, but it also felt so authentic and deeply human. so many moments were so well done with presenting intimacy and raw emotions. it felt like I was intruding on something I shouldn’t be seeing, which is credit to everyone involved. definitely an ending that’s going to sting for a while.
