Train Dreams
I put so much pressure on every day to be better than the last. I always tell myself that every day is an opportunity to make some aspect of my life better, to take a step in the right direction.
This movie has many gorgeous things to say about time and how it affects our place in the world. The difference a day can make.
Growing up in the PNW, I found myself so connected to the landscape and the scenery of this film. The luscious green forests, the river, the large grassy fields, all too familiar and reminiscent of a place now so far away.
I strive to misplace all sense of up and down. And I know one day I will get there.
(I didn’t know Netflix was allowed to make good movies)
