Death Note

one of the best animes I've watched but the episodes after L dies just feel really rushed. It's just a whole mess and seems like the writers didn't know what to do after and how to finish the series. They suddenly add all these new characters which we see only for a few episodes before they are either killed off or forgotten about till the end. Then Light does almost the same tactic he did to L and gives the death note to someone else to prove his innocence to L accomplice, Near, but because of a stupid mistake he is revieled as Kira and the series ends. That whole thing just feels out of character for Light and was probably just done so the series could finish. Then Misa commits suicide to kind of make the ending feel more tragic. (Also where the hell did ryuk go for the last 5 episodes???) In my opinion the ending would've been much more powerful if they had coincided Lights and the death notes end with Ls death. Light and L had a much closer relationship then Light did with any of the other characters and it would result in the tragic ending they tried to make but way more impactful.
