“I can be Nikki…” i think i need to have this movie injected into my blood vessels. first film i watch in my home cinema and its so very deserving of all its praise!!!! inde navarrete is seriously such an amazing actor, her body language and facial expressions were just so creepy and im not afraid to say she acted circles around everyone (not that they were bad though… she was just really good). i NEED to see her in more and more horror movies like samara weaving— inde scream queen plz! i was looking forward to this film ever since curry barker announced it on his youtube and im just so grateful for this generations passionate filmmakers— backrooms here i come! the camera angles used were just so clever and helped build the tension all throughout the film so well… mr barker i want more movie. the storys premise is just so terrifying that i cant even begin to put myself into nikkis shoes. i felt such a deep hatred for bear, completely stripping a womans autonomy simply for his pleasure. i think its telling if you see any guy who was rooting for him or saying “oh bear couldnt handle allat”— just completely missing the underlying message. i was sick to my stomach during the all the intimate scenes, bear absolutely disgusted me. i will always remember the nikki who gave the homeless man 20$, the nikki who wants to be a writer— who was going to dedicate all her time to writing, the nikki who joked and laughed. bear you are going to HELL.
