Rewatch: Wow I am not sure what took me to rewatch this but I did, and I am glad I did. I don’t think I was tapped into this enough during my first watch, this was absolutely beautiful. A great display of disassociation and grief by Gyllenhaal. Beautifully done cinematography and amazing performances from everyone involved, what a special film; grief is a difficult thing to grasp and deal with and this movie or should I say piece of art deals with it in such a spectacular and beautiful way.  “Other than that I’m not sure if I knew who she even was.”
