District 9

i love how district 9 uses aliens to subtly draw an easy-to-digest comparison to real-life issues, it’s very clever and was incredibly well executed. it’s been so, so well made, the sfx, acting and props are all spot on! also justice for my boy wikus!! bro was done so dirty 😭😭😭 it kills me every time i see how happy and excited he was at the start of the film 🤧
