3 hours of the mentally proficient and deficient jew who can gamble taking back the stupid junkie that doesn’t have half a braincell to bounce around. Jokes aside it is the best Scorsese film I have seen to date. The setting of Vegas is beautiful and the beautiful pops of colour all the way down to Sam’s dress sense, the scene composition, everything is perfect. It was such a joy to hear Theme de Camille at points in the movie. Because it really started to feel like a Godard at points. My only gripe is how shitty the writing for Ginger is, she’s genuinely a fucking bird it is mental. She makes Karen from Goodfellas look like a saint. Probably the worst woman I’ve seen in film to date. I wish she could actually have been fleshed out way better to give the film even more depth. That being said, stellar film and being a critique of capitalism make it timeless.
