Junior

Somehow genuinely puts the substance to shame in like 3 minutes.  Comedy is not too over the top and the body horror elements are A1. Was oscillating between cheesing from ear to ear to grimacing at the most awful shit I didn’t expect to see in a short. Julia’s mind is truly fascinating, I adore it. The whole lizard shtick as an allegory for female puberty and some kind of metamorphosis was beautiful and grotesque.  My heart stopped beating at points because I had no idea what direction the short was going to go in. Truly captivating and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Cronenberg or a very big fan of body horror. Also side note I fucking love when directors have their little favourite actor the Scorsese De Niro way.
