yes, it’s me again. and yes, it’s that time again. like clockwork i come back here every year, and like clockwork y’all still don’t get it. people back in 2008 didn’t know what was coming towards them, but it was coming hard, fast, wet, and cold. people in this modern time however? you have no excuse. this film is a work of art many have tried to imitate, but NONE have succeed at delivering. the blue filter? the fake squirt of ketchup at the diner? the biology class scene? “how you likin the rain girl”? edward shining bright like a diamond? “ends bad as in…i become the meal”? “hold on tight spider monkey”? THE FREAKING BASEBALL SCENE?!?? one day historians are going to record how important this movie is. one day this will be the new Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Taxi Driver, dare i even say… Godfather… THIS is the true cinematic classic. and i shall be able to say i was on the right side of history. will you however…hehehe…i don’t think so.
