Bad Influence
James Spader and Rob Lowe have to be one of the most iconic film duos—easily in my top tier of perfect pairings.
The film leans into noir elements with its moody cinematography, sleek L.A. backdrop, and a sense of unease that lingers throughout. It might not be the flashiest thriller, but that noir edge, combined with Spader’s ability to teeter between innocence and danger, makes it endlessly watchable. Some might call it an average thriller, but for me, it’s a gem.
Plus, James Spader wearing a bunny mask and acting all cute? Sold.
