Train Dreams

this movie fucking killed me, I wouldn’t have minded living Robert’s life in the first 45 mins, but it just gets absolutely ripped out from under you and you have this feeling that something bad is going to happen the entire time. Especially in Robert’s dream after his asian friend is killed on the job site. The entire second half i tried to fight back tears looking at Robert’s grief and I just couldn’t. And not to mention the absolutely beautiful cinematography that really captures the life of someone living and working in the forests.
