annie wilkes is that bitch and i just fucking love every moment of her in this movie. really though i think this is such an underrated movie. perfectly blends comedy, horror, and drama. feels appropriately 90’s without feeling dated. there’s such power in the annie wilkes character. while terrifying kathy bates blends in some pathos to really even out her as a human which is the key the movie needs to be so perfect.
