“Pray for the best, Prepare for the Worst”
-Keller Dover
This movie was amazing.
First off the acting, Paul Dano and David Dastmalchian always play the best, most terrifying characters in everyone movie, play the role of a psychopath paint themselves in a psychotic way eerily well.
Also Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal are 2 of the best actors of the 21st century, there performances throughout the whole movie had me holding my breath feeling the pain and fear with them just amazing work by them.
The Plot twist of this movie is so expected/unexpected that it’s not expected.
(Ik that makes no f*ing sense but just hear me out)
When holly is first introduced she feels sort of soft and kind but then she turns suspicious.
Then you keep going through the movie and just forget abt her, there is so much stuff going on with the other to “villains” that you just forget.
** That’s what makes this movie so great, there is so many suspects that it feels like there is none
Can’t forget about the drive to the hospital had me holding my breath the entire time hoping and praying he’d get there, I knew he would, it’s a damn movie but still there was so much suspense with the bloody vision, snowy road, Anna in the back. Just Cinematography at its Peak**
