“I think it’s nice that we share the same sky.”
A shattering yet beautiful depiction on mental health. Absolutely loved the performances from Frankie Corio as Sophia and Paul Mescal as Calum. They excelled at delivering a beautiful and convincing father/daughter relationship on the big screen that eventually broke me into pieces. The pacing was done wonderfully and overall it was a very pretty film to look at. I really loved the lighting and the overall tone the film possessed the entire way through. As much as I enjoyed this film, and as much as I enjoy crying, I genuinely don’t think I can watch it again, at least not for a few years. This film really packs a punch in a subtle manner that really fucked with my emotions. Anyways, a well done film that gets an A+ in my books.
