Arrival

Holy shit. Why did I wait so long to watch this? This was truly a compelling and visually captivating MASTERPIECE within the Science Fiction genre. It’s nothing like the typical Alien/UFO ideologies you’re used to seeing in films but one that takes a more realistic approach when it comes to initiating that “first contact” with an unknown species. It’s truly remarkable. Denis Villeneuve is an absolute treasure when it comes to doing what he does. He encapsulates beauty and boldness to the highest level of filmmaking and it’s absolutely mesmerizing. Amy Adams was an excellent lead for this film, and the support from Jeremy Renner was executed very well. This is one of those films that I will watch in the future and immediately go, “man, I wish I could experience that for the first time again.” I seriously finished this film with the same exact thoughts and feelings I had towards Interstellar (2014) when I first watched that. Like holy shit lol. Anyways this film was fucking amazing.
