Saw
It’s been 5 years since I first saw “saw” (hee hee). My change in taste. Evolution in understanding the industry and general love of genre is completely different.
I now know this is the creation of “American” stylized giallo. It’s the beginning of a genre and era in horror history. A love letter to the 90s and Fincher. A movie made for nothing with nothing rounded up and essentially executed in the editing room. To me this is what movies are about, this is art, this is creation! This is fucking fantastic and meant to be on the big screen! What a triumph!
