The Thing

Amazing film, the acting was great but I’d say that this is more of a story predominated film rather than having lots of unnecessary jump scares. There’s so many theories that you can have for the ending and I’m definitely going to watch a deep dive into that. You can see that John Carpenter’s remake of ‘The Thing’ inspired Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Reservoir Dogs’. My rating could definitely change to a 5/5 in the future because of all the effort with the stop motion but for now I’ll keep it at a 4.5/5. Also, I was confused at the start with the Norwegian shooting the dog and I thought that he was crazy, but then I looked up the translation and it made so much sense.  4.5/5, so good
