“Well Jules, the funny thing about my back is that it's located on my cock.”All Time Favourites I have come to the honest conclusion that Superbad is a perfect movie. To be honest, this has been a favourite of mine since I was about 7 years old, and it’s provided such a sense of light and comfort to my life in my formative years. Every time something remotely depressing happens in my life, I find myself gravitating back towards this absolute masterpiece. Today isn’t one of those days, but I can’t do a comedathon without watching Superbad! An absolutely fantastic coming-of-age comedy which explores the foundations of friendships at all stages of their life cycle, the daunting realisations of reaching adulthood, and how relationships intertwine with everyday life. The script is filled with witty, crude humour, balanced tremendously with profound melodrama, written absolutely tremendously. So much quotable dialogue that has been repeated throughout my life, and each character equally adds so much charm to the plot. Jonah Hill knows exactly what he’s good at, and when he does it, he’s one of the best in the fucking game. This released around a month after I was born, and honestly, I think this movie was made for me. Tremendous. (p.s mclovin is a top 5 character in movie history)
