Digger
okay this will probably be my first long review but i think it's the best movie of the year it's so crazy
like basically it's literally a critic about society and the rich, how they turn people against us instead of against them and how they only act for money and not care about people, the president was the one that showed it the most since he believed that his body represented the whole world itself
since it's supposed to be a comedy, at least in my opinion, I think that's the critic itself, that to cope with what's happening nowadays people use comedy, since it mostly treated about AI, companies and mostly, oil, the energy of everything. Digger called everyone hypocrites, since they act woke but use oil themselves, not just literally like with gas, but with energy and AI, which is something that's happening today.
it also reminded me a lot of David Lynch's movie Inland Empire, since it quickly changes perspective from their acting and the plot itself
I noticed in the end a phrase or something like that, I don't recall what it said exactly but it reminded me a lot of George Orwell's book 1984, like even after everything and even apparently going through a new virus, people just don't react and the rich keep controlling everything, even if in the background you can hear people screaming things like "fucking fascist"
i think that's all I wanted to say but the movie really made me think a lot even if I got really confused at first, this are all ideas I had while watching it and I hope I could write it all😭😭😭 thanks for reading if you reached here
