Absolutely brilliant as expected by Lumet, who easily has become one of my favorite directors of all time.
The usual from him. Brilliant characters, unflinchingly engrossing story, and beautiful direction. Amazing performances also (particularly Faye Dunaway gets MVP).
The third act, especially the ending, is just absolutely brilliant. No other word for it. Only gotten more relevant as time as gone on.
Might be Lumets best character work out of what I’ve seen and that’s saying something because it’s one of his core strengths.
Yeah, I expected to adore it and I did. Phenomenal work.
