i’ve watched this so many times at the point. i remember in band (yikes) the first meeting our conductor played that opening scene where it was just the song and made us all just sit and admire how so much emotion was invoked among the audience with no dialogue, just music. carl is the old man that i cry about every time i see one sitting alone at a restaurant, Russell not having a dad is so tru, the dog was the star, and the bird slayed. love love love therapy dupe even tho the start sends me into a deep depression
