Love Letter
Going into this movie I expect it to be set more in a realm of fantasy a unexplained reason as why she got a response from her deceased fiancé other than she was actually talking to his ghost in a journey to move on to deal with her grief. Finding out that there was actually a girl responding with the same name was a shock and once they brought that in I was like okay where can we go from here how come there is so much left of the movie I wasn’t expecting it to show even after death you can still learn and relive so many emotions from how others saw your person how they interacted how they perceived them differently. The jealousy that comes with finding out he loved you in first sight cause you looked like his first love, to be talking to this girl and slowly making her realize he loved her he always did but he was terrible at expressing it he sucked at talking to woman just like how he froze up at the proposal. The way he wrote her name many times only said by to her and in the end left her a book with a drawing in the back of the card I could not help but feel emotional myself. I very much hated Akiba for not only resenting Fujii for taking the girl he liked but also after he died it still felt like he was bitter about it trying to get with Hiroko and saying he got Fujiis blessing and trying to rush her grieving literally getting upset that she was still holding on to him. Boys can be selfish but girls can be selfish too by bothering someone beyond the grave 2 years later cause you still holding them dear it was really a beautiful movie I wanna rewatch again
