Dune: Part Two

"May thy knife chip and shatter." **"May **thy knife… chip and shatter." It’s THAT good. Believe what all the positive shit the movietok and letterboxd users are saying, this was EPIC. Dune II was everything I wanted it to be, but better. It was an epic phenomenon that excelled the first tremendously. Everything about the first movie, this film did better. The cinematography and visuals, the acting, the story, the fucking action scenes. IT WAS ALL SO GOOD.  Denis Villeneuve bro…. THIS MAN IS ON A PERFECT STREAK. His run has been legendary and this film just added to it. Dare I say best Villeneuve?? That isn’t that far of a stretch because mf’s who have seen this WOULD AGREE. Prisoners still takes the cake though. Hans Zimmer did it once again, no one ever doubts this man to create some of the best scores you hear in film. His Dune II score was no different. Every shot was fucking breathtaking and heartfelt and so strong and powerful.  Austin Butler fucked in this. 10/10 villain. Fucking amazing. A FUCKING BANGER THIS WAS. This is Denis’ Empire Strikes Back. His TDK. His Godfather Pt. II. His Magnum Opus. I am in awe. This was so fucking amazing. Holy shit. I’m going to be thinking about this for a while. I literally have nothing else to say, i’m in shock. This movie bangs hard. Fuck. I’m so amazed. And yes, if you couldn’t tell, Zendaya is in this movie more for 2 minutes. 99/100 for 5 stars **February ranked**
