“You keep dancing with the devil... one day he's gonna follow you home.” Words cannot describe what I just watched. A magnificent and monumental film that is definitely an instant classic. Filled with genius storytelling and groove, mixing the theme of vampires and music. Absolutely fucking magical, moving at such a fluid pace, being joined by the brilliant score by Ludwig Göransson, proving himself more and more that he could one day become the goat. The cast was absolutely stacked (no pun intended), with an incredible first performance by Miles Caton. I expect to see Oscars rolling in for this picture. We’re only 4 months into 2025 and, even though I have not seen many 2025 films, it’d be hard for the upcoming movies of this year to dethrone this masterpiece. Absolutely FUCKING. LOVED that music sequence in the club, combining the generations of different music from different cultures, all culminating into one. So fucking genius, one of my favorite scenes of, honestly, this decade. Ryan Coogler absolutely fucking cooked here, from start to finish, overflowed with sauce. Please go see this. This is exactly what we needed in terms of originality, for all you peeps complaining. Cannot wait to revisit this grand picture when it releases on streaming, oh boy, enough watched and this could become an all-time favorite.
