There’s honestly so much I want to say about this movie. It’s been a while since finding a movie that is equally brilliant in screenplay, acting, directing and overall vision. Obviously this isn’t a topic well spoken about when genders are versed, but Charles Melton gives an amazing performance on the mental setback and struggle of being struck from growing up at such a young age. Him and his other lead roles really stand out on their own and there’s honestly just so much imagery and character development that went into this. The comments about picking a grad dress, the evolution of butterflies, and slowly understanding the mind behind Gracie was just the standout moments for me personally. There is so much to unpack from this but I’m so glad I watched this, and many more should too.
Charles Melton better win an Oscar or the whole thing is rigged
