Young Sheldon
This show really pulled the biggest plot twist by making George Cooper one of its best characters. 🏈
Iain Armitage nails Sheldon's awkward brilliance without feeling like he's doing a Jim Parsons impression, and the entire Cooper family ends up being far more interesting than the original premise suggests. Some episodes fall into familiar sitcom rhythms, but when the show slows down and lets its characters simply exist together, it's weirdly beautiful. Also... Missy? Lowkey the funniest person in that house.
